Obituary: Janet Ann Gaulard

A memorial service for Janet Ann Goulard, 72, a Gardnerville resident for the past five years, will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Goulard died June 24, 2000 at her home. She was born Nov. 22, 1927 in Stark County, N.D., to John Gress and Lena Crank Gress. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edmund S. Goulard in 1980 in Sacramento, a brother, buddy and one sister, Eunice.

Prior to living in Gardnerville she resided in Sacramento.

Mrs. Goulard worked for the payroll and accounting office at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento for 27 years.

She was of the Roman Catholic faith.

Among her survivors are her son Marc A. Goulard of Wilderville, Ore.; brothers Arnold Gress of California and Jimmy Gress of Idaho; sisters Sharie McGhee of Norco, Calif. and Marlys Craig of Eugene, Ore., and one grandson.

Cremation is under the direction of FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville is in charge of arrangements.
