Funeral services for Janet Turner Bagby, 76, a Carson City resident since 1970, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
Mrs. Bagby died Thursday at her home in Carson City.
She was was born in Sacramento on Sept. 18, 1923, to Coyle and Nancy Wilkinson Turner. She married Navy Cmdr. Lee Bagby June 18, 1944.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 16, 1998, in Carson City.
She came to Carson City from Fallon but lived most of her life in California.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Washoe Zephyr Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Carson City and of the Society of Mayflower Descendants in California.
She is survived by son Calvin Bagby of Grand Rapids, Mich.; daughter Margaret Elliot of Carson City; brother Scott of Red Bluff, Calif.; sisters Helen Carlisle and Nancy Dunham, both of Chico, Calif.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at the Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
