Jeanette L. Senob, 89, a Gardnerville resident for the past five years, died Oct. 1, 1999, at her residence. She was born Dec. 20, 1909, in Michigan, to Andreas and Wilhelmina Kjellgren Sundwick.
She graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Davis, Calif.
Mrs. Senob was a professional singer and she taught music for many years. She taught kindergarten in Farmington, Mich. She also wrote many children's stories and appeared on TV in Michigan.
She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma honorary education sorority and AAUW. She also worked with Green Peace with her church in Florida. She was the founder of the Sun City Center Orchestra in Sun City Center, Fla. and belonged to a poetry club in Sun City Center. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Detroit, Mich. and the United Community Church in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Senob, Nov. 11, 1991.
Among her survivors are her daughters, Ruth Smith, of Carson City and Karen Sundwick, of Oregon; sisters, Carmen Miller of Michigan and Linn Toth of Florida; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
No service will be held.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
