A funeral for JoAnn Hedges Lamm, 59, a Kalamazoo, Mich., and Mendon Mich., resident, was held Oct. 18 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon with the Rev. Dr. Thomas L. Truby, pastor of the Mendon United Methodist Church, officiating.
Mrs. Lamm died Oct. 12, 1999, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was born Nov. 3, 1939, in Elkhart, Ind., to J. Stuart and L. Irene Smith Hedges.
She moved to Mendon in 1947 and graduated from Mendon High School in 1957. After attending Goshen College, she moved to California where she married Rudolph Winistorfer in San Francisco. They were later divorced.
She worked as a bill collector for the David Welch Co. for 15 years in Carson City, where she met and married Larry Lamm March 17, 1984.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Winistorfer.
Among her survivors are her husband, Larry; son, Rick Winistorfer and wife, Elaine, of Suisun City, Calif.; two grandchildren; brother, Harry Hedges and wife, Jeannine of Kalamazoo; and other relatives.
Burial will be at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.
