A memorial service for Judith Arlene Welton, 59, a Gardnerville resident for the past 20 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Welton died Feb. 20, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born May 17, 1940, in Wichita, Kan., to Norman and Wilma Moore McWilliams.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Southern California.
Mrs. Welton was an inspector and engraver at Bently Nevada. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, spending time with her family and gardening. She was a past member of the Four Square Church in La Mirada, Calif.
Among her survivors are her father and mother of Carson City; husband of 42 years, Richard of Gardnerville; sons David Richard of Gardnerville, Alex Scott of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jeff Dwayne of Dayton; sister Normann Holland of Carson City and five grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
