A graveside service for Max Taylor, 72, a Gardnerville resident for most of his life, will be at 2 p.m., Friday at the Lone Mountain Cemetery
Mr. Taylor died Nov. 2, 1999, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born May 8, 1927, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Lester and Irene Gold Taylor.
He graduated from Carson High School.
Mr. Taylor was a steel designer at Iron Works in Reno. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed the outdoors.
Among his survivors are his sister, Eldeane Murphy, of Carson City, and three nieces.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
