A memorial service for Nellie S. Hass, 79, a Carson City resident for the past 35 years, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Hass died Nov. 7, 1999, at Carson Healthcare. She was born Jan. 18, 1920, in Amsterdam, Holland, to Wilhelm and Corneila Schellens.
She married Robert Hass Nov. 13, 1945, in San Francisco.
Before retiring, Mrs. Hass worked in real estate and owned Bonanza Realty. She loved traveling and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1978.
Among her survivors are sons, William and Arnold, both of Carson City; daughters Trudy Tolman, of Boise, Idaho, and Shelly Hass-Macdonald, of Carson City; four grandchildren and three grand-dogs.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
