Obituary: Neola Evylin Corrin Barr

Services and burial for Neola Evylin Corrin Barr, 81, a Carson City resident for the past six months, will be held in Colfax, Wash., at a later date.

Mrs. Barr died June 27, 2000 at Carson Healthcare Center. She was born Sept. 23, 1918 in Toston, Mont. to Alfred Glenn Corrin and Lillian Elizabeth Cole Corrin. She was preceded in death by her husband Verl Barr on Sept. 30, 1969 and daughter Shirley Ann Schierman of May 20, 1994.

She married Verl Barr on Aug. 3, 1936. Prior to living in Carson City she resided in Mullan, Idaho.

Mrs. Barr was a deputy sheriff in Wallace, Idaho.

Among her survivors are her grandchildren Karla Rodriguez of Carson City, Scott Schierman of Riverton, Wy., Janice Ammar of Salmon, Idaho, Greg Schierman of Phoenix, and Michael Schierman of Naturita, Colo., and 10 great-grandchildren.
