Patrick Leo Truttman, 74, of Carson City died Wednesday at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
He was born Nov. 3, 1925, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Leo Albert Truttman and Elizabeth Agnes Hollarn Truttman.
A retired security guard, Mr. Truttman moved to Carson City 13 years ago from Burbank, Calif.
Mr. Truttman served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was very active with the Disabled American Veterans, serving as chaplain of Unit No. 7 of Carson City. He was a past Exalted Ruler of the BPO Elks No. 1497 in Burbank and an associate member of BPO ElksNo. 2177 in Carson City.
Survivors include wife Peggy Truttman of Carson City; daughters Linda Wilson of Mound House and Elizabeth Eder of North Hills, Calif.; sister Betty Andrews of Bass Lake, Calif.; nephew Brian Andrews of Carson City; 13 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 22, at 2 p.m. at FitzHenry's Funeral Home, 833 North Edmonds Drive, in Carson City. An inurnment service with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Lone Mountain Cemetery. FitzHenry's Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
