Philip McConkey, 75, a Wellington resident for the past 21 years, died Dec. 24, 1999, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
No services are scheduled.
Mr. McConkey was born May 31, 1924 in New York. Prior to living in Gardnerville he resided in New York.
He was a retired auto upholsterer. He worked at Grand Auto in Carson City for many years.
Mr. McConkey was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Wellington, Topaz Lodge No. 3630.
Among his survivors are his wife, Joyce McConkey of Wellington; daughter, Carla Adamson of Palm Springs, Calif.; one grandson, three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation is under the direction of FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
