A memorial service for Richard Henry Moylett, 62, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mr. Moylett died Nov. 5, 1999, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1936, in Oakland, Calif., to John and May Elizabeth Jones Moylett.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in San Francisco.
Mr. Moylett was an engine mechanic for the Merchant Marines, Pacific District, for more than 30 years. He was a member of E.C.V., a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 7 and he was an avid cartoonist. He was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Beatrice.
Among his survivors are his brother, John, of Pacifica, Calif.; sister, Barbara Rackerby, of Novato, Calif. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Inurnment will be at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley at a later date.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
