A memorial service for Wendy Elaine Barnes, 50, a Dayton resident for the past 16 years, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barnes died June 7, 2000, at her home. She was born July 5, 1949, in Carmel, Calif., to Bartolo and Josephine Randazzo Roman.
Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Union City, Calif.
Mrs. Barnes was a homemaker. She was an avid doll collector, loved animals and loved her family and grandchildren. She was a friend to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her husband Steve of Dayton; daughter Donna Mireles of Carson City; brothers David Roman, John Roman, Paul Roman and Matthew Roman all of Monterey, Calif.; sisters Donna Roman of Monterey and Jane Roman of Los Angeles and five grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
