Obituary: William Mewes

William T. Mewes, 47, a Carson City resident for the past two years, died Dec. 20, 1999 at his residence.

Private services will be held Tuesday in Chico, Calif.

Mr. Mewes was born Sept. 28, 1952 in Sacramento to Richard Mewes and Marlene Bennett. Prior to living in Carson City he resided in Incline Village.

Mr. Mewes was a salesman. He enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Among his survivors are his father, Richard Mewes of Paradise, Calif.; mother, Marlene Roberts of Carson City; sisters, Susan Crone, of Carson City, and Michelle Butters of Castaic, Calif.; three nieces, an aunt and two uncles; and best friend Chris Siris, of Port Angeles, Wash.

Cremation is under the direction of FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
