Struble serving as public affairs officer for BLM

Mark Struble will be serving as public affairs officer in the Carson City Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management.

Struble is returning to the bureau after working the past 10 years for the USDA Forest Service in Wyoming, Colorado and in Nevada/California for the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit.

His primary duties in Carson City will involve assisting the media on all aspects of the bureau's mission, as well as coordinating resource advisory council meetings, special events, volunteer management, congressional and state agency relations, publications and public outreach efforts. He has a strong background in fire information activities, recreation management and partnership development.
