A Texas man will soon be taken back to his home state to face charges of aggravated sexual assault on a child following his arrest Sunday on a warrant.
Donald Gene Mohling, 48, was picked up at 7:39 p.m. at Carson Lanes on Snyder Avenue. The warrant, signed by Gov. Kenny Guinn, Secretary of State Dean Heller and Deputy Pamela Crowell, ensures that the suspect cannot fight extradition.
Sheriff's Deputy Scott Burau said he did not know details of the case, but the warrant suggests that Texas officials knew Mohling came to Nevada and therefore requested the warrant.
