RENO - Washoe County investigators are calling the death of a Reno golfer's mother an accident.

Diana Whisman died Oct. 15, when she fell out of a 1996 Isuzu Rodeo while it was traveling down Dryden Lane in Reno.

According to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, unless something turns up in the laboratory or medical reports, Whisman's death was an accident.

Investigators are still seeking to fill in the blanks in the death.

They say she attended a birthday party earlier in the evening and would like to talk to anyone who may have seen or talked to her that day.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Carl McLelland at 328-3001.

Whisman's son, Travis, won the state 4A golf title for Galena last spring and is an amateur golfer.
