Robert Charles Much, 73, a Silver Springs resident for the past eight years and former Carson City resident, died July 15, 2001, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Feb. 29, 1928, in Wisconsin to Arthur and Mable Hoffman Much.
Mr. Much owned and operated his own fuel business. He was a past member of the Clampers, Moose Lodge, Legion of the Moose and American Legion.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
Among his survivors are his son Greg, of Carson city; daughters Debbie Carroll, of Bowling Green, Va. and Jackie Hillings of Baltimore; a sister Leona Thompson of Dallas; and nine grandchildren.
No service will be held at this time.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
