A memorial mass for Dorothy Chamberlain, 80 will be said at 11 a.m. Nov. 19 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mrs. Chamberlain was a Carson City resident for the past year. She died Nov. 5, 2001 in a Reno hospital.
She was born Sept. 2, 1921 in Tacoma, Wash., and lived for more than 40 years in the Menlo Park area. She was an airline stewardess.
A Catholic, she attended St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church and worked as a volunteer teaching children's Catholic education classes and with the Legion of Mary. She also volunteered for a library in Menlo Park.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 1960 and her daughter, Susan, in 1989.
Among her survivors are a son, Richard of Aptos, Calif.; a daughter, Kathleen "Kitty" Stone and four grandchildren, Allison Snow, Molly Sarah Stone, Dylan McCrae Snow and Jonathan McKenzie Stone.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City is in charge of the arrangements.
