A funeral for Percy Franklin Pimley, 68, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at Walton's.
Mr. Pimley died Nov. 1, 2001, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born March 3, 1933, in Joplin, Mont., to Percy Francis and Estella Jessee Skonard Pimley.
He came to the Carson City/Minden area in 1964.
Mr. Pimley worked in the construction industry. He was a past member of Labor Union 169 and a member of the American Association of Retired Persons.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his children.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Helen, in 1998.
He is survived by his son Mark A. of Minden; daughters Jane K. Heaser of Ridgecrest, Calif., Ruth A. Jibson, and Susan M. Raty, both of Carson City, Stella M. Parker, Ellen M. Albiter and Judy L. Pierce, all of Dayton, and Anna L. Mattox of Carson City; brothers Vern and Donald, both of Joplin; sisters Viola Ness of Hingham, Mont., and Joyce Easton of Conrad, Mont., and 13 grandchildren.
Burial will follow the service at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
