A Funeral Mass for James William Butterly, 60, a Yerington resident for the past eight years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Yerington.
A Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Holy Family.
Mr. Butterly died Sept. 9, 2001, at South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington. He was born Sept. 23, 1940, in Detroit.
Before moving to Yerington, he lived in Indian Springs.
Mr. Butterly retired from the U.S. Marine Corps. He joined the Marine Corps league of Las Vegas in 1988 and was a member of E Clampus Vitus.
Among his survivors are his wife Ellen Jo of Yerington; son James Donald of Indiana; stepson Steven Jimmy McKee; daughter Mary Ann and stepdaughters Marilee Ellen McKee and Bobbie Jo McKee.
Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Yerington.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
