A private memorial service for Delbert L. Merriner, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 31 years, will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Fountainhead Four Square Church, 3690 Highway 395. For information call 775-885-7488 or 775-883-9439.
A reception for family and friends will be held Sept. 29.
Mr. Merriner died Sept. 20, 2001. He was born Feb. 2, 1920.
He was president and owner of Richdel, Inc., employer to more than 800 Carson City residents, until 1984. He was both an avid sportsman and a keen businessman.
Among his survivors are his wife of 59 years Ruth; children Audrey, Patti, Richard and Wayne; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and countless friends.
