Nevada JobConnect, a no-fee, statewide employment network, said it helped 79,000 people and 3,500 businesses with their employment needs in the six months since the program was launched by Gov.
Kenny Guinn in January.

Services offered through Nevada JobConnect include on-the-job training, job-related equipment support and incentives for qualified businesses job seekers, oneon- one recruitment services, the largest database of job-seekers in the state, on-line access to post job openings, and up-to-date labor market information.
