Daniel M. Sonny, 47, a Carson City resident for the past 28 years, died Aug. 19, 2002, at his home. He was born Oct. 11, 1954, in Ceres, Calif., to Michael and Lillian Hale Sonny.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Tahoe City, Calif.
Mr. Sonny was a member of the Alano Club.
Among his survivors are his wife Naomi of Dayton; mother Lillian and father Michael, both of Atwater, Calif.; daughters Sharisse Heredia, Stacie Sonny and Sandi Sonny, all of Truckee; brothers Michael of Carson City and David of Twin Falls, Idaho; sisters Cynthia Concepcion of Atwater, Andrea Pacheco of Merced, Calif., and Beverly Coon of Porterville, Calif.; 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A private service has been held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
