Link Piazzo and Ranson Webster have

been inducted into the Junior Achievement

Business Leaders Hall of Fame

Reno native Piazzo , a veteran of 67

combat missions in a B-25 during World

War II, developed Hidden Valley and the

Hidden Valley Country Club and launched

The Sportsman retail store with his brother,

Chet.

The brothers also were co-owners of

KTVN Channel 2, pioneered Reno's first

shopping center and built two others.

Webster began business in Reno as a

sales engineer with Control Data Corp. in

the late 1960s. Later, he took a fledgling

Reno-area company in 1972 and parlayed

a $16,721 capital investment into a multimillion

dollar corporation. He sold

Computing Resources, Inc. to Intuit in

1999.
