Richard Lynn Tucker, 56, a Carson City resident for the past eight years, died Jan. 27, 2002, in Carson City. He was born Oct. 11, 1945, in Merced, Calif., to Jack and Elizabeth Dunham Tucker.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in the California's Central Valley.
He married Ruth Hull Oct. 18, 1967 in Reno.
Mr. Tucker was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed making chandeliers from antlers and spending time with his grandchildren. He played guitar and enjoyed writing music.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Among his survivors are his wife, Ruth of Carson City; sons Toby of California and Jesse of Dunsmuir, Calif.; daughters Billy Jo of Holloway, Tenn., Kerry Wyckoff of Alabama and Marcia Tucker and Jewell Tucker, both of Carson City; brothers Walter of Vallejo, Calif. and Robert of Turlock, Calif.; sister Marsha Starr of Dayton; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and best friend Paul Allen of Carson City.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
His ashes will be scattered in the Sierra Mountains.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
