A graveside service for Sylvia B. Rosendorf, 77, a Carson City resident for the past four years, will be at 2 p.m. today at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
Mrs. Rosendorf died Feb. 25, 2002, at Zephyr Cove. She was born Dec. 23, 1924, in Cambridge, Mass., to Isaac and Celia Greenstein.
She married Laurence B. Rosendorf in Boston, Mass., Oct. 11, 1945.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Zephyr Cove.
Mrs. Rosendorf loved to cook and entertain. She was past president of the South Lake Tahoe Cancer League from 1992 to 1994, a past member of Barton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary where she volunteered for 10 years and a past board member of Temple Bat Yam. She was Jewish.
Among her survivors are her husband Laurence of Carson City; sons Kenneth of Ogunquit, Mass., and David of Minden; daughter Roberta Benvenuto of Zephyr Cove; brother Abraham Greenstein of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; sister Faye Stone of Margate, Fla.; six grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary, Minden, is in charge of arrangements.
