Emma Josephine Worth, 78, a Carson City resident for the past year, died Jan. 4, 2002, in Carson City. She was born Feb. 24, 1923, in Los Angeles, to Emil and Emily Krausse Binderheim.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in California.
Mrs. Worth was a member of the order of Eastern Star for more than 25 years.
Among her survivors are her husband William D. of Carson City; daughters Karen Hartnett of Reno and Patricia Jones of Valley Springs, Calif.; sister Bertha Walker of Long Beach, Calif.; grandchildren Sharon Comfort of Phoenix, Ariz. and Ana and Russell Jones of Valley Springs, Calif. and nephews William Walker and James Walker.
Private services were held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
