A celebration of life for Thomas Samuel "Sam" Kelley will be at 11 a.m. Monday at The Gardens Chapel in Fallon.
Mr. Kelley died July 23, 2002 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born June 30, 1965 in Riverside, Calif., to Bobby and Carol Sorrell Kelley. He was 37.
He was a 25-year resident of Fallon and a graduate of Churchill County High School. He was a plumber who was working for Day and Zimmerman and who had formerly worked at Naval Air Station Fallon.
Mr. Kelley was a former coach for Fallon Youth Baseball and was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the NBU-Ducks Unlimited-Greenhead Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Tommy and Verla Sorrell and stepmother Ellie Kelley.
Among his survivors are his wife, Nona "Sissy" Kelley, son Case and stepson Bret Gormley all of Fallon; his mother Carol Kelley of Reno; his father Bob Kelley of Mena, Ark.; brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Jennifer Clark of Lovelock; sister and brother-in-law Katina and Randy Rosenfeldt of Friant, Calif.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at The Gardens Chapel.
