Obituary for May Ruth French

May Ruth French, 78, a longtime Carson City resident, died March 9, 2002 at her home. She was born Jan. 31, 1924.

Mrs. French was known as "The Button Lady."

Among her survivors are her husband of 54 years Benjamin S. III of Carson City; daughter Thesa Wright of Santa Cruz, Calif.; son Deni French of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law George Kim and Linda French of San Diego, Calif., and Stephen Lee and Wei Shiu of Carson City; grandchildren Gary Wright Rosmond, Wayne Wright of Santa Rosa, Shea French, Anthony French and Niesh French, all of San Diego and Gordon Lee of Carson City and great-grandchildren Gary, Candace, Klyle, Cassandra, Alyssa, Wayne, Tearan, Annyssa, Nathan and Nala.
