Cops nab suspected drug traffickers

Two children were taken into custody and a sex offender and three others were arrested in an early-morning drug raid on a Carson City home.

Tri-Net Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant on No. 10 Tiger Drive at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

During the search about 39.2 grams of methamphetamine was found, according to Kim Evans, public information officer of the Department of Public Safety Investigation Division.

An undercover buy at the address previously netted 60 grams of methamphetamine. The street value of both seizures is $9,900.

Five grams of marijuana were also seized during the search.

Child Protective Services took custody of two children, ages 1 and 7.

According to Evans, the home was overwhelmingly cluttered with garbage and there was no visible signs of plumbing in the bathroom and showers.

Several syringes, included a loaded one, were also found.

James Agnew, 38, a self-employed computer repairmen who lives at the Tiger Drive address, was charged with three counts of felony trafficking methamphetamine and two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. His bail is set at $790,000.

Catherine Anne Morgan, 35, who lives at the Tiger Drive home, was charged with three counts of felony trafficking, two counts of possession with the intent to sell and one count of gross misdemeanor child neglect. Her bail was set at $792,500.

James Londo, 63, a registered sex offender who lists his address as in the 300 block of Park Street, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic device and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $2,210.

Laura Creighton, 43, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. Her bail was set at $2,500.
