Obituary for Natalia Villarreal Wunderlich

A memorial Mass for Natalia Villarreal Wunderlich, 68, a Minden resident, will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.

Mrs. Wunderlich died Nov. 10, 2002, in Reno of cancer. She was born July 8, 1934, in Manila, Philippines.

She met her husband Dirk at an international design conference.

She worked for Philippine Airlines and then came to the United States to attend college. She began as a pre-med student and finished as an artist. She and her husband worked together in their own design business. She was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church.

Among her survivors are husband Dirk of Minden; brothers Jesse Villarreal of Madrid, Spain, and Jay Veneux of Los Angeles; sisters Maiti Villarreal of Toleman, Australia, Ines Villarreal of Manila and Mercy Villarreal of Bedford Hills, N.Y.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Relief Services.
