Will you share your holiday memories with Nevada Appeal readers?

Glistening snow, a fire in the hearth, friends and family gathered around the tree -- they are familiar sights to many families.

But each of us has a special memory, too, of a holiday that was one of a kind. Some holiday memories are sad; some are funny. They deserve to be shared.

The Nevada Appeal is asking you to write about your favorite holiday memory and send it in no later than Dec. 9

We will publish several of the stories in the days before Christmas. Stories should be true, typed if possible, and no longer than 500 words. Include a name and phone number.
