A memorial service for Mary L. Broyles, 75, a Carson City resident for the past 41 years, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mrs. Broyles died Oct. 13, 2002, in Reno. She was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Colorado to William and Mary Haines Wilson.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Battle Mountain.
Mrs. Broyles enjoyed knitting, traveling with her sister and spending time with her family and friends. She was a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Edward Broyles in 1991.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Guy and Kay and son Gary, all of Carson City; daughters Irma Salo of Las Vegas and Barbara Marshall of Astoria, Ore.; sister Florence Layton of Battle Mountain; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
