V. Robert Payant has been elected president
of the Reno Chamber Orchestra board
of directors. He succeeds Lynn Bremer,
named as an honorary life member for her
service as president for the last three years.
Payant served as a judge in Michigan for 23
years, and was president of the National
Judicial College in Reno for nine years. He
currently serves as executive director of the
Nevada Catholic Conference. Other board
officers are William Scott, first vice president;
Jill Winter, second vice president; Cleta
Dillard, secretary; Judy Sturmer
and Deter von Hennig, co-treasurers.
