Charles Schwab & Co, the brokerage
company, seeks approval, to open a national
bank based in Reno.
The company in June filed an application
for the bank with the U.S.
Comptroller of the Currency.
Schwab has signed a long term lease
on 13,000 square feet of office space at
5190 Neil Road for a small retail bank
branch and a separate back office administration
function, said Ken Stark, partner
and office property specialist at NAI
Hale Day Gallagher Co.
Stark represented Schwab in the lease
negotiations.
