Obituary: Darla J. Pelfrey

Darla J. Pelfrey, 63, a longtime Carson City resident, died March 29, 2003, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 20, 1939, in Litchfield, Ill.

Among her survivors are her husband of 47 years, Ron Pelfrey of Carson City; children Barbara Battaglia of Virginia City, Jim Pelfrey of Carson City, Niki Turner of Terrebonne, Ore. and Lori Chappell of Columbia, S.D.; mother, Helen Potts of Henderson; brothers Richard Potts, Dennis Potts, Joe Potts and Dayton Potts, all of Reno; sister, Sandra Gonzales of Henderson; four grandsons; three granddaughters; and one great-grandson.

At her request, no services will be held.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
