Already busy with projects across south Reno, The Ribiero Companies in a few days will start work on its 60,000- square-foot Carson Quail Park development in Carson City.

The mixed-use project at Rhodes and South Carson streets will include office, retail and warehouse space, said Ed Yuill, Riberio's general manager in Reno.

It's the company's first venture in Carson City.

Yuill said about 8,000 square feet of the project was leased before construction began and another 12,000 square feet had been sold.

Ribiero takes on the Carson City project even as work continues on its Quail Corners project on South McCarran Boulevard.

Six stand-alone buildings are in various stages of completion at Quail Corners.

One of the buildings has been sold, Yuill said, and about 10,000 square feet has been leased in the other buildings.

A couple of two-story buildings one of 31,000 square feet, the other of 25,000 square feet remain on the drawing board for Quail Corners.

The company also is wrapping up a 37,000-square-foot project on Longley Lane.

About 10,000 square feet of that project remain for lease, Yuill said.

The Ribeiro Companies has developed about 10 million square feet of commercial, office and industrial space in Reno and Las Vegas during its 40-year history.
