Obituary: Louis "Lou" A. Glasgow

A funeral for Louis "Lou" A. Glasgow, 65, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Glasgow died April 21, 2003, in Carson City. He was born there on Dec. 22, 1937.

He lived in Minden for 30 years and in Carson City for three years.

Mr. Glasgow was a longtime Keno manager for the Horizon Casino and for Harveys at Stateline.

He served in the U.S. Army during Korea and Vietnam and later worked several years as a civilian helicopter mechanic in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and jazz.

Among his survivors are his wife of 33 years, Marie Glasgow of Carson City; sons John Lammay of Red Bluff, Calif., and Richard Lammay of Gardnerville; daughters Jean Stevens and Renee Quell, both of Carson City; brother, Sonny Hawk of Iowa; sister, Lorena Lain of Iowa; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
