Royal Standards Minerals of Sparks said last week it has received the permits to start a drilling program on its 100 percent owned Pinon gold-silver project in Elko County.
The program will include up to 40 additional drill holes targeted to test for gold mineralization near the surface of the property.
Previously drilling programs drew data from about 300 holes.
