Construction has begun on a 70,000- square-foot warehouse for R Supply Co., a utilities supply company.
Panattoni Construction is heading the project at Longley Lane and Rock Boulevard.
Development began in late June and is anticipated to be complete in October.
R Supply will move from its previous location in downtown Reno.
The land from which the land is being developed was leased from the Airport Authority of Washoe County.
"It's a high visibility traffic area," said Matt Clafton, project manager for Panattoni Construction.
The total cost of the project is approximately $3.4 million.
