Lucille Harris, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 28 years, died Aug. 12, 2003, at Mountain View Care Center. She was born June 6, 1922, in Sparks to Manuel and Daisy Davis Sanchez.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Salt Lake City.
Mrs. Harris was a homemaker. She enjoyed working with and taking care of the elderly, word puzzles, reading and her grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert H. Harris in 1972; and son Jon C. Harris in 1978.
Among her survivors are her sons Lacee A. of Salt Lake City and James of Las Vegas; daughters Linda Ferguson and Suzanne Fairbanks, both of Salt Lake City; brother, Lawrence Sanchez of California; sister, Margaret Robinson of San Leandro, Calif. ; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
No service is scheduled.
Inurnment will be at Mountain View Cemetery at a later date.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
