Muriel Anderson, 84, a Carson City resident for the past seven years, died Aug. 13, 2003, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Reno of complications from diabetes. She was born Sept. 11, 1918, in St. Paul, Minn.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived at Lake Tahoe.
Mrs. Anderson was a fabulous cook and baker, known for her pound cake.
Among her survivors are her husband, Joel F. "Andy" Anderson; brother, Richard Strom; and children Joel L. "Sparky" and Carole Terry, both of Carson City.
A private family service will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
