Surveillance cameras captured images of a man police say robbed a Carson City convenience store at gunpoint last week.
On Aug. 9, the man entered the Country Store in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East about 9:23 p.m. and brandished a weapon at the clerk. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He is described as a white male adult, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall to 6 feet tall, with a medium build, short brown hair and a light-colored mustache. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with the blue number "71" on the back, black pants and a black baseball cap.
The Carson City Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.
Anyone having information relating to this crime or the suspect is asked to call detectives at 887-2020 ext. 1400.
Secret Witness is also offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
