A memorial service for Margaret Sue Wall, 62, a Yerington resident for the past three years, will be at 10 a.m. today at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Chism officiating.
Mrs. Wall died Aug. 13, 2003, at South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington. She was born Dec. 11, 1940, to Amon and Joanna Hunt Hooks.
Before moving to Yerington, she lived in Alaska for three years, coming from California's San Jose area, where she lived for more than 30 years.
Among her survivors are her husband, Val Leon of Yerington; son, David Torres; daughter, Paula Torres; two grandchildren; and four brothers.
A graveside service with inurnment will be at 3 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Gonzales Cemetery in Gonzales, Calif.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
