Police need info on vandalism, graffiti

The Carson City Sheriff's Department is asking the public's help in locating people responsible for vandalism in the Northridge subdivision in northeast Carson.

Vandals broke windows, damaged houses under construction, knocked down fences, and damaged construction equipment. An estimated $5,000 in damage has been reported.

The crimes occurred usually on Friday and Saturday nights, and began the week of Aug. 4. Police suspect juveniles are responsible.

The Sheriff's Department is also interested in the information about recent graffiti that has sprouted up around town.

Secret Witness is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.
