Betty Jane Moyano, 79, an Irvine, Calif., resident for the past few years, died Aug. 23, 2003, in Irvine. She was born April 12, 1924, in Farlin, Iowa, to William R. and Lurilla F. Halvorson Trader.
Before moving to Irvine, she lived in Carson City for many years.
Mrs. Moyano worked for a printing firm in Sunnyvale, Calif., for 29 years and for a cash management firm in Redwood City, Calif., for two years. She was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by sister, Edith Kirsherner.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Judith Lee and Bill Morse of Irvine; grandchildren Angelina and Gabrielle; and four great-grandchildren.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
