Margaret E. Vogele

A funeral for Margaret E. Vogele, 86, of Carson City will be at noon today at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation was Monday at Walton's.

Mrs. Vogele died Dec. 3, 2003, in Carson City. She was born Jan. 13, 1917, in Lewiston, Mont., to Louis and Eudora Spencer Wurtz.

She graduated from the University of Wisconsin.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Southern California.

Mrs. Vogele was an elementary school teacher in Southern California for more than 20 years.

Among her survivors are her husband, Dick of Carson City; and sister, Helen McDonough of Grass Valley, Calif.

Burial will be at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, Calif.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
