A memorial service for Marilyn J. Morris, 73, a Carson City resident for the past 39 years, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Morris died Nov. 29, 2003, in Carson City. She was born April 29, 1930, in San Jose, Calif., to Kenneth H. and Daveta Pampel Green.
She married Jack H. Morris in October 1962 in Winnemucca.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Lodi, Calif., for many years.
Mrs. Morris retired from the State of Nevada Division of Forestry. She was an avid angler and hunter.
Among her survivors are her husband of 41 years of Carson City; children Debbie Glenn of Oak Harbor, Wash., Donna Martin of Sparks and Ricki Hughlett of Reseda, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
