A memorial gathering for Thomas Wayne "The Indian" Scott, 62, a Nevada resident for the past 35 years, will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday at the home of Richard and Paula Scott, 563 Yellowjacket, Dayton.
Mr. Scott died Dec. 15, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Sept. 12, 1941, in Kelso Valley, Calif., to Jerry J. and Anne Collins Scott.
He had lived in many places around the state.
Mr. Scott enjoyed racing cars and fishing at Pyramid and Walker lakes with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Ruth in 1981 and brother Freddie in 1961.
Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law Richard and Paula of Dayton; granddaughters Rachaun and Ruth Anne Scott; and brother Jerry of California.
At his request, there will be no service.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
