With occupancy at 94 percent after Cold Stone Creamery signed a lease for a new store, Reno's Shoppers Square is growing nicely into its expansion.

The center at Plumb Lane and South Virginia this year completed the second phase of its expansion a 10,000- square-foot cluster of shops that includes Red Wing Shoes and Radio Shack.

The first phase of the expansion was a 10,000-square-foot expansion to the Marshall's store in the center.

Next up? Ralph Casazza, president of Shoppers Square owner Tore and Casa Ltd., says he continues to negotiate with major retailers for an anchor store that would be built at the east end of the center, extending Shoppers Square to Kirman Street.
